Outreach Manager & Marketing Specialist

Advanced Architectural Products is seeking an experienced “Outreach Manager & Marketing Specialist” to join our marketing team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for developing education/outreach programs, proven marketing expertise, strength in technical writing, experience/interest in the construction/architecture industries, and knowledge of the code development process. Specifically, the Outreach Manager & Marketing Specialist will lead the development of an education/outreach program, manage content development, lead/expand the company’s media relations program, and other activities focused on elevating Advanced Architectural Products and its continuous insulation and building enclosure systems. The ideal candidate will be based at the A2P office in Allegan, MI; hybrid candidates will be considered. The candidate must be comfortable in a team-based environment and leverage AI tools as appropriate.

Responsibilities:
  • Develop and administer an education/outreach program in support of A2P’s continuous insulation and building enclosure systems; develop educational partnerships with industry groups, industry media, industry events, and through internal vehicles. Support delivery of virtual live programs, on-demand programs, in-person programs, etc.
  • Develop technical, educational, and promotional content for A2P, including articles, white papers, websites, presentations, and more; personally develop some content and coordinate efforts of the marketing team and consultants on additional content.
  • Lead efforts to expand A2P’s media relations program in support of company goals and positioning.
  • Develop/implement marketing and communications campaigns.
  • Support internal education programs for employee onboarding, training program management, annual national sales meeting, etc.
  • Additional education, outreach, marketing, and communications programs, as needed.

Experience:
  • Bachelor’s degree in marketing, communications, English, journalism, or a related field
  • 5-10 years industry experienced
  • Proven experience establishing/strengthening education/outreach programs
  • Proven experience communicating technical content to audiences of varying technical levels
  • The ability to work in a fast-paced environment
  • Working knowledge of content management systems (WordPress)
