Project Coordinator

Advanced Architectural Products is seeking a full-time Project Coordinator for an opening in our Allegan, MI, office. They will be responsible for supporting Sales Representatives in the execution of projects from kickoff through closure, with significant responsibilities including customer support, CRM, project communications, and assisting with administrative tasks. The candidate should have a strong grasp of technology and be comfortable with SAP and CRM systems. Responsibilities:
  • Supporting Sales Representative to follow open projects from customer order through completion
  • Daily contact with Sales Representatives and Customers
  • Coordinating critical dates for projects, etc.
  • Administrative aspects of project,s including project documentation, drawing, job closing, and scheduled shipments
  • Assist in the preparation of project communication documents, gathering data, generating reports, etc.
  • Assist with properly maintaining information in project folders
  • Working with Sales Representative / Area Sales Managers and assisting in the tracking of projects
  • Provide relevant feedback aiming to exceed customer expectations
  • Organize daily work, prioritize work time, and effectively manage deadlines
  • Work with all internal departments to answer customer questions relative to projects
  • Daily updating of SAP with ongoing information
  • Follow up on incoming questions/requests from customers using effective communication and problem-solving techniques and ensure information/documentation is filed accurately for future reference
  • Preparation and communication of internal/external project status and escalation of critical issues.
  • Be an excellent teammate and work with limited supervision
  • Assist in other projects and departments as needed
Qualifications:
  • 2-4 years’ experience in Customer Service, Manufacturing Sales/Project Coordinator / a plus.
  • Experience in administrative support.
  • Experience using project management tools (Microsoft Project, Microsoft Teams, Microsoft Excel)
  • SAP expert
  • Effective verbal and non-verbal communication skills internally and externally.
  • Knowledge of project management best practices.
  • Ability to stay highly organized and balance multiple tasks simultaneously.
  • Ability to problem solve, be adaptable, and be flexible.
  • Attention to detail.
  • Documentation and reporting skills.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $22.00 – $26.00 per hour

Schedule: 1st shift, Monday to Friday
