Gun Lake Casino Hotel & Natatorium

Wayland, MI

Gun Lake Casino Hotel & Natatorium in Wayland, MI, uses 45,000 SF of GreenGirt Max CMH™ and 2,200 SF of the GreenGirt XO™ structural thermal framing system over metal studs, behind ACM cladding, with mineral wool insulation. It is a casino resort expansion that was designed by HBG Design, built by Clark Construction Group, and installed by CEI Michigan, LLC.

Window and door openings are where legacy framing concentrates thermal bridging, a particular concern in a humid natatorium and a hotel with extensive glazing. The GreenGirt XO system frames those openings to extend the insulation plane through them, while GreenGirt Max CMH carries the ACM on a thermally broken support over continuous mineral wool.
