SMARTci on open framing is an air- and water-tight building enclosure system designed to eliminate thermal bypass, installed over open framing to improve air/water tightness while reducing labor and material steps. It’s comprised of Class I GreenGirt CMH continuous insulation Z-girts, integrated custom-profiled insulation panels, ThermaLock technology, and required accessories.
SMARTci on open framing is available in 1.5, 2, 2.5, 3, 3.5, 4, 4.5, 5, 5.5, 6, and 8 inches. Our configuration options table also lists compatible insulation thicknesses across the same range (1.5″ through 8″).
SMARTci is an enhanced air- and water-tight building enclosure system designed to withstand up to 20 psf. The system also uses pressure seals to connect rigid insulation panels and create a 360-degree air- and water-seal, plus it’s described as providing a smooth drainage plane outboard of the system.
