The Indiana Law Enforcement Academy in Plainfield, IN, uses 52,000 SF of the SMARTci® Building Enclosure System and 12,000 SF of the GreenGirt XO™ window-framing system over metal studs, behind ACM cladding, with XPS insulation. It is a state law enforcement training academy designed by CSO Architects, built by Shiel Sexton and Powers & Sons, and installed by Engineered Facades.

Window and door openings are where legacy framing concentrates thermal bridging. The GreenGirt XO system frames those openings to extend the insulation plane through them, while SMARTci seals the walls in a continuous air- and water-tight enclosure over XPS.
