Community Health Centers of Southeastern Iowa – Keokuk Clinic

Cedar Rapids, IA
The Community Health Centers of Southeastern Iowa in Keokuk, IA, uses 6,600SF of the the SMARTci® building enclosure system over steel studs, behind fiber cement panels and brick, with polyiso insulation. The project was designed by INVISION Architecture, built by Carl A. Nelson Co., and installed by Carl A. Nelson Co. & McClure Masonry.

For a nonprofit medical clinic built to provide affordable healthcare to the local community, the wall needed a durable, low-maintenance enclosure. By using the SMARTci® system with its mixed-cladding assembly, the sealed, insulated wall behind both claddings stays sound and low-maintenance across the decades the clinic will serve.
