Advocate Outpatient Center

Huntley, IL
The Advocate Outpatient Center in Huntley, Illinois, uses 10,000 square feet of GreenGirt Max CMH™ over metal studs with gypsum, behind metal panels, brick, and stone, with mineral wool insulation. It is an outpatient healthcare center. The project was designed by HDR, built by The Boldt Company, and installed by The Rockwell Group.

For an outpatient facility built for a durable, energy-efficient envelope, the wall needed continuous insulation and support for a mix of heavy and light cladding; GreenGirt Max CMH supported that by carrying that varied cladding over a continuous insulation layer while limiting thermal bridging through the framing. Across the metal-stud wall, the continuous layer improves energy performance and helps keep interior conditions stable, which matters in a building that runs long hours and serves patients.
