26th and Alcott

Denver, CO
26th and Alcott in Denver, Colorado, uses 144,000 square feet of GreenGirt Max CMH™ over metal studs and concrete, behind stucco and metal panels, with mineral wool insulation. Standing 15 stories, it is a mixed-use residential development. The project was designed by OZ Architecture, built by The Weitz Company, and installed by BigHorn Plastering.

For a high-rise building built to high energy-performance standards, the wall needed continuous insulation with minimal thermal bridging across a large façade; GreenGirt Max CMH supported that by holding the cladding over a continuous insulation layer. That uninterrupted layer cuts thermal bridging through the framing and helps meet the continuous insulation requirements increasingly set by energy codes, while its streamlined, fewer-component design shortens installation and helps control both construction and long-term operating cost.
