Consumer Direct Care Network in Missoula, Montana, uses 44,000 square feet of the SMARTci® building enclosure system over steel studs, behind aluminum cladding, with polyiso insulation. It is the office building for a home-care services company. The project was designed by Encompass V2 and built and installed by Swank Enterprises.

For a large workplace in a cold, windy climate like Missoula’s, the envelope’s hardest job is not insulation value alone but air leakage, which in a Montana winter both drives up heating cost and leaves a building drafty for the people working in it. The SMARTci® system answers that by wrapping the wall in a continuous air- and water-tight enclosure so that infiltration is sealed off across the whole 44,000-square-foot face.
