Set to fully open in May 2025, the Gun Lake Casino Hotel & Natatorium project in Wayland, Michigan is the expansion of the existing casino to include new amenities. For example, a new 15- story hotel with 252 guest rooms, a full-service spa, restaurants, and an Aquadome, which includes multiple pools and a concert venue. Construction of The Embassy Suites by Hilton in Grand Rapids, Michigan, which used the SMARTci 3 in 1 building enclosure system on open framing on the building’s walls.

The Embassy Suites by Hilton in Grand Rapids, Michigan is a 7-story hotel that consists of 246 guest rooms. This hotel features a sports bar and grill, an indoor pool overlooking Grand River, a banquet facility, and meeting/event rooms. Thermal and energy efficiency is guaranteed for this hotel through the use of the SMARTci 3 in 1 building enclosure system installed horizontally on open framing on the building’s walls at 2.5” deep and 24” on center with polyiso insulation and fiber cement and stone cladding. Using the SMARTci system on open framing allowed installers to dry the building in faster, significantly speeding up installation time.

The Kimpton Tryon Park Hotel in Charlotte, North Carolina is an 18-story hotel with 217 guest rooms. Amenities for this hotel include a rooftop event space, a rooftop lounge and restaurant, a gym, and much more. To enhance the durability and structural integrity of this hotel, GreenGirt CMH was installed vertically on the building’s walls at 2” deep and 16 on center, with mineral wool insulation and Dri-Design cladding.

The Godfrey Hotel in Detroit, Michigan is a luxury lifestyle hotel with 227 guest rooms. Also included for guests is a rooftop lounge with a retractable roof for year-round access, a ballroom for weddings, corporate and special events, in-room dining, and a fitness center. To prevent thermal bridging and offer the highest levels of thermal efficiency, GreenGirt CMH was installed on the building’s walls at 3” deep and 16” on center, with mineral wool insulation and ACM cladding.
