Guilford County Schools Visual and Performing Arts Elementary School in Greensboro, NC, uses 65,000 SF of the SMARTci® building enclosure system over metal studs and gypsum, behind fiber cement cladding, with polyiso insulation. It is a new public arts-magnet elementary school integrating arts education into its core curriculum, designed by DLR Group, built by TA Loving, and installed by Bonitz.

A large public elementary school is built to operate efficiently for decades. SMARTci provides a continuous air- and water-tight enclosure over polyiso, reducing the infiltration that raises heating and cooling demand across the 65,000 SF facade.
