A2P has an opening for a Business Operations & Accounting Associate based on-site in Allegan, MI. This is an entry-level role designed for a sharp, curious, and creative professional who is just starting their career. You will sit at the intersection of accounting, office operations, and HR coordination, gaining broad exposure to how a fast-growing manufacturing company actually runs. Flexible scheduling is available; we are open to part-time or full-time arrangements for the right person.

Responsibilities
  • Assist with maintaining accurate records for transactions, balances, journal entries, and documentation
  • Support Accounts Payable processing and monthly credit card reconciliation
  • Help build and maintain financial spreadsheets, reports, and pivot tables
  • Assist with month-end close preparation and data entry
  • Support inventory tracking and purchasing documentation
  • Help manage daily office activities and keep operations running smoothly
  • Prepare and maintain reports, documentation, and internal communications
  • Conduct research and compile data to support internal decision-making and project planning
  • Coordinate logistics for meetings, projects, and cross-functional team needs
  • Track project progress and help teams meet deadlines
  • Assist with recruiting coordination: scheduling interviews, candidate communications, and onboarding documentation
  • Maintain confidentiality and professionalism when handling sensitive HR and financial data
  • Identify process inefficiencies and bring forward original ideas to improve them
Experience
  • Bachelor’s degree (completed or in progress) in Accounting, Business Administration, or a related field
  • No prior work experience required — we are looking for aptitude, self-learning, and discipline
  • Strong comfort with numbers, data, and financial concepts
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, especially Excel (formulas, spreadsheets, pivot tables)
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Highly organized with strong attention to detail
  • Ability to handle confidential information with professionalism and discretion
  • Eagerness to learn new tools, systems, and workflows including AI and automation technologies

Pay: $50,000-$65,000 annually (based on experience); Equivalent hourly rate commensurate with experience and hours worked for Part-Time flexibility
