Henry Ford Health + Michigan State University Health Sciences Research Center

Detroit, MI

Henry Ford Health + Michigan State University Health Sciences Research Center in Detroit, MI, uses 55,000 SF of the GreenGirt CMH Delta™ Adjustable system over metal studs, behind metal panel cladding, with mineral wool insulation. It is a new seven-story biomedical research facility supporting more than 80 research teams across cancer, neuroscience, immunology, and precision health, designed by ZGF Architects, built by Barton Malow, and installed by National Enclosure Company.

The Delta Adjustable system corrects the small variations that can appear across a tall facade by letting the installer adjust each girt in the field. The metal panels are brought to a true, even plane while the insulation stays continuous behind them.
