The Embassy Suites on Judge Doyle Square in Madison, WI, is a new hotel serving as the connecting hub between Capitol Square and Monona Terrace. Featuring a prominent curved façade, this nine-story-high, full-service hotel has 262 rooms, an on-site restaurant and lounge, a fitness center, an indoor pool, and meeting spaces for guests. To increase installation efficiency without compromising building performance, this project utilized modular construction methods, including a panelized system of cold-formed metal panels manufactured by BLUvera, developed and installed off-site and transported for efficient installation on the job-site. To support this panelized system, 60,000 square feet of the GreenGirt CMH continuous insulation system was installed off-site before efficiently transported to be directly installed on the building’s walls.
