Overland High School

Aurora, CO

Overland High School in Aurora, CO, uses 17,000 SF of the SMARTci® Building Enclosure System over metal studs, behind metal panel cladding, with XPS insulation. It is a high school campus upgrade centered on a new aquatics natatorium with a competition pool, alongside renovated academic and athletic spaces, designed by DLR Group, built by Saunders Construction, and installed by Superior Roofing.

A natatorium holds warm, humid air under positive pressure, which forces moisture toward and into the walls. SMARTci seals the wall in a continuous air- and water-tight enclosure, controlling the vapor-laden air that would otherwise reach the assembly and condense within it.
