The Peyton Manning Children’s Hospital at Ascension St. Vincent in Indianapolis, IN, is the addition of a full-service tower to the existing hospital that specifically provides maternity, neonatal intensive care, pediatric intensive care, and surgical services. To maintain an efficient construction schedule and avoid labor conflicts, modular construction methods were utilized, such as prefabricated, off-site construction so that units could be transported and ready to be installed quickly. To support modular construction efficiency, 65,000 square feet of the GreenGirt CMH continuous insulation system was installed horizontally on the building’s prefabricated wall system before transported to the job-site.
