Pultrusion Operator- 1st Shift

Responsibilities:
  • Setting up and operating equipment for pultruded products
  • Resin/polymer mixing and batch mixing
  • Continuous feeding of fiberglass roving & mat into machine, inspecting product during production and inspecting finished goods before shipment
  • Operate manufacturing equipment and use hand tools as required
  • Packaging, labeling and documentation of products
  • Keeping equipment and work area safe, clean and organized
  • Complete necessary documentation, including process checks, quality checks and production reporting
  • Recognize mechanical issues that involve maintenance
  • Able to shut down and clean line properly, remove and clean tooling
  • Ability to lift to 70 pounds, perform tasks requiring repetitive motion and standing
  • Ability to perform simple mathematical calculations, read and interpret documents, follow procedures and document information
  • Ability to work effectively from drawings, sketches, tables, and schedules
  • Ability to use and read tape measures, gauges, hand and portable power tools
  • Work with and around chemicals/solvents and work in hot and cold environments
Requirements:

Experience:
  • Machine operator: 1 year (required)
  • Working with fiberglass: 1 year (preferred)

Pay: $26.00 – $40.00 per hour, includes base pay & quarterly attendance/efficiency bonus

Schedule: 1st shift, 5:00AM-5:00PM, 40+ hours per week
