Greene County Courthouse

Catskill, NY

Greene County Courthouse in Catskill, NY, uses 18,000 SF of GreenGirt Max CMH™ over steel studs, behind ACM cladding, with mineral wool insulation. It is an expansion and modernization of the county justice campus, connecting court operations with law enforcement functions, designed by Thaler Reilly Wilson Architecture & Preservation, built by Murnane Building Contractors, and installed by Charles F. Evans Company.

The girts here are set at a wide 48-inch spacing, which places more load on each one. GreenGirt Max CMH carries the ACM at that spacing on a thermally broken support, holding the wall insulation continuous across a large civic facade through the cold upstate New York winters.
