Chanel at Westfield UTC in San Diego, CA, uses 10,000 SF of the SMARTci® Building Enclosure System over steel studs, behind plaster cladding, with XPS insulation. It is a new luxury retail store at the Westfield UTC center, pursuing LEED certification, designed by MBH Architects, built by Dickinson-Cameron Construction Company, and installed by The Raymond Group.

The plaster facade of a flagship boutique is a rigid, wet-applied finish that shows any movement in the wall behind it. SMARTci gives that plaster a continuous, stable plane to sit on within an air- and water-tight enclosure, holding the finish sound while contributing to the store’s LEED goal.
