Aspirus Chippewa Falls Hospital

Chippewa Falls, WI
The Aspirus Chippewa Falls Hospital in Chippewa Falls, WI, is the development of a new hospital to connect rural communities to accessible health care. This new 35,000 square-foot facility will provide emergency services, inpatient care, treatment rooms, an on-site clinic, CT and X-ray imaging, and laboratory services. To keep this project on-track and occupied 3 months early, modular construction methods were used, including off-site unit construction at prefabrication and modular supplier, and Boldt’s sister company, Bildt’s facility in Oshkosh, WI. Around 30% of the entire facility utilized modular construction to complete the project ahead of schedule. To support efficient off-site installation, 8,600 square feet of the SMARTci building enclosure system was installed prior to transporting the units to the jobsite.
