Aspirus Chippewa Falls Hospital in Chippewa Falls, WI, uses 8,600 SF of the SMARTci® Building Enclosure System over steel studs, behind fiber cement cladding, with polyiso insulation. It is a new 35,000 SF hospital serving rural communities, with emergency services, inpatient care, an on-site clinic, imaging, and laboratory services, designed by HGA and built and installed by Boldt.

The hospital was completed three months early through modular construction, with approximately 30 percent of the facility built off-site at Bildt’s prefabrication plant in Oshkosh, WI. SMARTci was installed on those prefabricated units before delivery, sealing the wall in a continuous air- and water-tight enclosure ahead of transport.
