Bethesda North Hospital

Cincinnati, OH
Bethesda North Hospital in Cincinnati, Ohio, uses 16,000 square feet of GreenGirt CMH Delta™ Adjustable over steel studs and existing brick, behind ACM cladding, with mineral wool insulation. It is an addition to an operating hospital. The project was designed by GBBN, built by Turner Construction, and installed by Valley Interior Systems.

For a hospital addition tying new wall into existing masonry, the problem is flatness: old brick often is uneven, and a new ACM rainscreen has to read as one even plane across both the new framing and the brick behind it. The GreenGirt CMH Delta Adjustable system handles that by dialing the cladding outboard to a level plane regardless of how far the brick wanders, while adding continuous mineral-wool insulation.
