Collin College Health Sciences Center in Frisco, Texas, uses 20,000 square feet of the GreenGirt Optima CMH™ system over metal studs, behind metal panel cladding, with XPS insulation. The three-story building will house the college’s nursing, sonography, medical imaging and allied health programs, with simulation labs and clinical skills spaces. The project was designed by PBK Architects, built by McCarthy Building Companies, and installed by Baker Triangle Drywall.

The building enclosure runs across soffit undersides and sloped planes as well as vertical walls. GreenGirt Optima CMH runs continuously through each of those changes in plane, holding the XPS layer outside the stud framing and giving the metal panels one consistent attachment line from wall to soffit. Its composite metal hybrid profile limits the steel path between cladding and framing, so the insulation stays continuous where the building turns its corners and overhangs.
