Blue Origin in Kent, Washington, uses 13,000 square feet of the SMARTci® building enclosure system over metal studs, behind metal panels, with polyiso insulation. It is an industrial building on aerospace company Blue Origin’s Kent campus. The project was designed by Lance Mueller & Associates and built and installed by Axiom Construction Services Group, LLC.

SMARTci carried the building’s large metal panels and the continuous polyiso on a single system sized for the wide spans between its supports, which keeps the large manufacturing envelope insulated and weather-tight without closely spaced girts. In Kent’s wet marine climate, the system’s integrated air- and water-control also keeps the metal-clad face sealed against steady Pacific Northwest rain.
