Boehringer Ingelheim Vetmedica in Ames, Iowa, uses 5,400 square feet of GreenGirt Max CMH™ over metal studs, behind ACM cladding, with mineral wool insulation. It is a science building for Boehringer Ingelheim’s animal-health operations. The project was designed by OPN Architects and built and installed by Metal Design Systems Inc.

For a building like this, the wall faces no difficult structural or cladding problem; it needs a clean, durable, low-maintenance exterior around a controlled interior. GreenGirt Max CMH met that with continuous, non-combustible insulation behind an ACM rainscreen, on a thermally broken system.
