The Borden Complex

New York City, NY

The Borden Complex in New York City, NY uses 20,000 SF of GreenGirt Max CMH™ over metal studs and gypsum, behind metal panels, with mineral wool. This industrial building houses was designed by KSS Architects, built by March Associates Construction, and installed by FM Construction Group, LLC.

This single building contains warehouse bays, a distribution center, film and television studios, and offices, each placing very different climate and load demands on the same wall. GreenGirt Max CMH carries the metal panels on a continuous insulation plane that gives all of them one uniform thermal boundary, holding the cladding on that kind of thermally broken cladding support keeps the envelope consistent across a mixed-use industrial building.
