Bronco Billy’s Casino

Cripple Creek, CO
Bronco Billy’s Casino in Cripple Creek, Colorado, uses 76,000 square feet of GreenGirt Max CMH™ over metal studs, behind metal panels and ACM, with mineral wool insulation. It is a large casino and entertainment venue in a historic mountain town that sits at roughly 9,500 feet. The project was designed by CannonDesign, built by Hensel Phelps Construction Company, and installed by Gen3 Construction.

A casino stays warm around the clock, while Cripple Creek’s 9,500-foot elevation brings long, severe mountain winters, so the wall faces a large temperature difference between inside and out. This requires deep, continuous insulation. The metal-and-ACM façade withstands high-altitude sun, snow, and freeze-thaw cycles. Across a 76,000-square-foot floor, that insulation depth and thermal continuity reduce heat loss.
