Columbia Southwest Elementary School

Columbia, MO

Columbia Southwest Elementary School in Columbia, MO, uses 11,000 SF of the SMARTci® Building Enclosure System over steel studs, behind metal panel cladding, with polyiso insulation. It is a new public elementary school, designed by DLR Group, built by S.M. Wilson & Co., and installed by Watkins Roofing.

A public school is built to operate efficiently for decades on public funding. SMARTci provides a continuous air- and water-tight enclosure over polyiso, controlling the infiltration that raises heating and cooling demand in the Missouri climate.
