The Denver Federal Center project in Lakewood, Colorado, uses 35,000 square feet of GreenGirt Max CMH™ over metal studs, behind fiber cement cladding, with mineral wool insulation. It is a federal government building at the Denver Federal Center, the GSA-managed campus west of Denver that houses multiple federal agencies. It was designed by Burns & McDonnell, built by Heritage Contracting, and installed by TrueTeam/RG Insulation.

A federal facility is held to strict energy and sustainability standards, often tighter than local code, so its envelope must meet real performance targets rather than minimums. Metal studs conduct heat across the wall and reduce its effective R-value well below the rated figure, so GreenGirt Max CMH recovers that performance by carrying the mineral wool unbroken on the exterior of the framing. Behind a fiber cement exterior that a government building can leave largely maintenance-free for decades, the wall is built to satisfy those standards over a long service life.
