Gun Lake Casino

Wayland, MI

Gun Lake Casino in Wayland, Michigan, uses 29,000 square feet of GreenGirt Max CMH™ over metal studs, behind metal panel cladding, with mineral wool insulation. It is a gaming and entertainment venue. It was designed by JCJ Architecture, built by Clark Construction Company, and installed by Architectural Metals.

A casino operates around the clock, so its walls condition the interior continuously through Michigan’s cold winters. The GreenGirt Max CMH girts carry the metal panels and maintain a continuous insulation plane outboard of the steel studs, and because the girt is composite metal hybrid rather than solid metal, it reduces the thermal bridging that would otherwise pull heat out at every stud.
