Holland Energy Park

Holland, MI

Holland Energy Park in Holland, Michigan, uses 10,000 square feet of the SMARTci® building enclosure system over metal studs, behind fiber cement cladding, with polyiso insulation. It is part of a municipal power generation facility that is designed by Progressive AE.

An energy plant runs continuously and is engineered around efficient performance, so its occupied buildings are held to the same standard. SMARTci forms an air- and water-tight enclosure and carries the fiber cement on its girts, holding a continuous insulation plane that preserves the wall’s effective R-value across the elevation.

Photos of the project were produced by Progressive AE.
