Indiana University School of Medicine Medical Engineering Building

Indianapolis, IN

Indiana University School of Medicine Medical Engineering Building in Indianapolis, IN uses 21,000 SF of GreenGirt Max CMH™ over metal studs, behind GFRC panels, with mineral wool. The medical education and research expansion adds laboratory space and supports collaboration between medical and engineering disciplines. The project was designed by Browning Day, built by Messer Construction Company, and installed by Interior Specialties.

GreenGirt Max CMH carries the GFRC on a continuous insulation plane sized for the load, keeping the panels stable across a building of research labs and shared engineering space. Supporting cladding at that weight is what the system’s CMH accessories are built for.
