La Plaza Esperanza in Portland, OR, uses 8,700 SF of GreenGirt Max CMH™ over steel studs and gypsum, behind ACM cladding, with mineral wool insulation. It is a community center offering cultural programming, designed by ZGF and Salazar, built by Colas Construction, and installed by Pioneer Sheet Metal.

A community center is funded publicly and expected to serve for decades with little upkeep. GreenGirt Max CMH carries the ACM on a thermally broken support over a continuous mineral wool layer, keeping the insulation unbroken across the steel studs so the building stays efficient and low-maintenance through Portland’s wet, mild climate.
