Madonna School in Omaha, NE, uses 11,000 SF of the SMARTci® Building Enclosure System over steel studs, behind Nichiha fiber cement cladding, with polyiso insulation. It is a special-education school serving youth and adults with intellectual and developmental disabilities. This scope is an 11,000 SF addition, designed by BCDM Architects, built by Kiewit Corporation, and installed by Weatherguard, Inc.

A school addition is built to serve for decades and to match an existing building. SMARTci provides a continuous air- and water-tight enclosure over polyiso, maintaining stable interior conditions through Nebraska’s cold winters, behind a Nichiha fiber cement exterior.
