Overland Park Arboretum

Overland Park, KS

Overland Park Arboretum in Overland Park, Kansas, uses 4,000 SF of GreenGirt Max CMH™ over steel studs, behind metal panel cladding, with mineral wool insulation. It is a public arboretum and community building, designed by DLR Group, built by McCownGordon Construction, and installed by Flynn Midwest.

This is a small public building, funded publicly and expected to serve for decades with minimal upkeep, so a durable exterior and an efficient wall are the priorities. GreenGirt Max CMH carries the metal panels on a thermally broken support over a continuous mineral wool layer, keeping the insulation unbroken across the steel studs so the building remains efficient to condition through the Kansas seasons.
