Portland Art Museum

Portland, OR

Portland Art Museum in Portland, OR, uses 2,000 SF of GreenGirt Max CMH™ over metal studs, behind ACM cladding, with mineral wool insulation. It is a cultural institution serving the city’s arts community, designed by Hennebery Eddy Architects, built by Mortensen Builders, and installed by McKinstry.

ACM shows any unevenness in the wall behind it, so the panels need a true, consistent plane. GreenGirt Max CMH provides that plane and a thermal break at each cladding attachment, holding the ACM flat over a continuous insulation layer across this small facade.
