Saint Louis University Champions Center in St. Louis, Missouri, uses 2,500 SF of the SMARTci® building enclosure system over steel studs, behind ACM cladding, with custom-profiled polyiso insulation. It is a university athletics facility, designed by Hastings + Chivetta, built by McCarthy Construction, and installed by Hyde Sheet Metal.

SMARTci supports the ACM facade on a vertical attachment layout over steel-stud framing, combining GreenGirt CMH sub-framing with custom-profiled insulation so the cladding support coordinates with the enclosure’s air, water, and thermal control. On this small scope, the composite girts provide continuous insulation attachment with a thermal break at each connection, as described in continuous insulation attachment.
