SUNY Old Westbury in Old Westbury, NY, uses 10,000 SF of the GreenGirt CMH Clip™ system over cold-formed metal framing, behind metal panel cladding, with mineral wool insulation. It is a renovation on the State University of New York’s Old Westbury campus, designed by BSA LifeStructures, built by JRM Construction Management, and installed by Metropolitan Roof.

The clip system attaches the cladding at discrete points rather than through continuous metal, limiting thermal bridging to the small clip contacts. GreenGirt CMH Clips carry the metal panels over continuous mineral wool, maintaining the insulation through the cold Long Island winters.
