Statesville Regional Airport

Statesville, NC

Statesville Regional Airport in Statesville, NC, uses 10,000 SF of the SMARTci® building enclosure system over metal studs, behind metal plate cladding, with polyiso insulation. It is a new regional airport terminal building, designed by Lindsey Architecture, built by Samet, and installed by Martin Roofing.

An airport terminal serves continuous public traffic and benefits from a sealed, efficient envelope. SMARTci provides a continuous air- and water-tight enclosure over polyiso, controlling the infiltration that raises heating and cooling demand.
