The Somm. Hotel & Spa in Woodinville, WA, uses 90,000 SF of GreenGirt Max CMH™ over steel studs and gypsum, behind ACM cladding, with mineral wool insulation. It is a luxury hotel and spa with 164 guest rooms. The project was designed by Jensen Design Architects, built by Sierra Construction, and installed by Commercial Insulation Services.

A hotel of this size depends on quiet guest rooms, and mineral wool is a sound-absorbing insulation that contributes to acoustic separation between rooms and from outside noise. GreenGirt Max CMH holds the mineral wool continuous outside the steel framing while carrying the ACM on a thermally broken support.
