Tudor Park Business Plaza in Anchorage, Alaska, uses 18,000 SF of SMARTci® building enclosure system over metal studs, behind Fiberesin cladding, with polyiso insulation. It is an office and commercial plaza, designed by Bettisworth North and built and installed by Excel Construction.

Anchorage sits in a sub-arctic climate, where an office building is heated hard for much of the year and air leakage carries a real energy penalty. SMARTci answers that by sealing the wall in a continuous air- and water-tight enclosure over polyiso, limiting the thermal bypass that drives heat loss in cold climates. For a working building this far north, that sealed, continuously insulated wall is the core of keeping it economical to heat.
