Waukee Community School District Aquatic Facility in Waukee, Iowa, uses 15,000 SF of GreenGirt Max CMH™ over steel studs, behind metal panel cladding, with mineral wool insulation. It is a school district natatorium, with a competition pool and a separate warm-up pool, designed by RDG Planning & Design, built by Henkel Construction Company, and installed by SGH Concepts.

A natatorium is one of the most demanding envelopes a building can have: warm, chlorinated, highly humid pool air pushes moisture hard into the walls, and any cold interior surface invites condensation that corrodes structure over time. GreenGirt Max CMH addresses that by carrying the mineral wool continuous outside the steel framing, so the studs do not create cold spots through the wall and the interior face stays warm enough to keep that moist air from condensing.
