Bellevue Plaza

Bellevue, WA
Bellevue Plaza in Bellevue, Washington, uses 52,000 square feet of GreenGirt Max CMH™ and GreenGirt CMH Delta™ Adjustable over metal studs, behind metal panels, with mineral wool insulation. It is a large mixed-use development. The project was designed by Graphite Design Group and built and installed by McKinstry.

For a large façade running across varying substrate conditions, the wall needed continuous insulation that could absorb those variations and hold a true, even plane. Pairing the two GreenGirt systems supported that: the standard CMH carrying the metal panels on even runs, and the Delta Adjustable leveling the cladding plane where the substrate was out of true. Holding one continuous insulation layer across both conditions matters in Bellevue’s wet marine climate, where a vapor-open mineral-wool assembly that can dry protects the wall over a large exposed façade.
