The Kiewit Training and Innovation Center in Omaha, Nebraska, uses 9,000 square feet of the SMARTci® building enclosure system over metal studs, behind metal panel cladding, with polyiso insulation. This corporate training and innovation facility was designed by Holland Basham Architects, with E&K Companies, Inc. serving as both general contractor and installer.

A workforce training center runs classrooms, shops, and meeting space that stay in use through Nebraska’s wide seasonal swings. SMARTci forms an air- and water-tight enclosure and carries the metal panels on its girts, sealing the wall against the thermal bypass that lets conditioned air leak out around the insulation.
