The Perennial – Corktown in Detroit, Michigan, uses 3,000 GreenGirt CMH Clips™ with GreenGirt Max CMH™ over steel studs, behind ACM cladding, with mineral wool insulation. It is a multifamily residential building in Detroit’s Corktown neighborhood, designed by Neumann Smith, built by The Christman Company, and installed by Cass Sheet Metal.

The Perennial’s wall uses GreenGirt CMH Clips together with Max CMH girts, pairing point clip attachments with continuous girt support behind the ACM. Combining the two places thermally broken attachments where the panel layout needs them while keeping a continuous support plane elsewhere, holding the ACM off a continuous mineral wool layer over the steel studs. For an apartment building, that keeps thermal bridging through the cladding attachments low across the residential facade.
