Birmingham Pointe in Birmingham, MI uses 20,000 SF of SMARTci® building enclosure system over metal studs, behind ACM, with polyiso. The multi-story mixed-use building was designed by Neumann Smith, built by Frank Rewold & Sons, and installed by CEI.

With 157 residential units stacked above ground-floor retail, Birmingham Pointe repeats the same exterior wall across many homes, where each unit’s heating and cooling cost rides on that wall. SMARTci ties the ACM into one air- and water-tight enclosure over the steel studs, giving every unit the same sealed thermal boundary from the retail frontage to the top floor.
