North City Pure Water Facility

San Diego, CA

North City Pure Water Facility in San Diego, California uses 20,000 SF of GreenGirt Max CMH™ over metal studs, behind composite panel cladding, with mineral wool. The facility expands the North City Water Reclamation Plant to increase San Diego’s capacity to recycle and purify water. The project was designed by MWA Architects, built by WRK Engineers, and installed by San Diego Sheet Metal.

A water-reclamation plant is critical public infrastructure that must remain durable and serviceable for the long term. GreenGirt Max CMH carries the composite panels on a continuous insulation plane over the metal studs, providing the enclosure performance documented through ASTM testing.
