The Tom Lester, Jr. CTE Center in Gonzales, Texas, uses 21,000 square feet of GreenGirt Max CMH™ over steel studs, behind metal panel cladding, with mineral wool insulation. The new career, technical education, and agricultural building for the Gonzales ISD was designed by VLK Architects, built by Weaver & Jacobs, and installed by Fireproof Contractors, Inc.

For a CTE facility built around durable, high-use vocational and agricultural program spaces, the wall envelope needed continuous insulation and a solid attachment plane for metal panel cladding. GreenGirt Max CMH supports that by maintaining a continuous insulation layer outside the steel stud framing, reducing thermal bridging through-wall assembly, and providing a stable structural base for the metal panel attachment.
